What should you expect from J.W. Paris? Bluesy, anthem-like rock and roll with a hint of 90s grunge to it. J.W. Paris, the archetypal thrashy three piece, created in a 24hr storage locker hidden in leafy Bedfordshire. Citing their influences as Dandy Warhols, White Stripes, Iggy Pop and the occasional nod to The Rolling Stones, they are not short of hedonistic inspiration.
Fresh off support slots with INHEAVEN, FREAK, Jake Evans, Forever Cult and Bruce Foxton., J.W. Paris are starting to come in to their own having been described as:
‘Their ballsy, intimidating style makes for an anger-releasing, let everything go kind of music.’- It’s All Indie Magazine ‘Rapture’
Their debut single was produced with the mastermind Paul Tipler - who has previously worked with the likes of Elastica, Placebo, The Horrors and Powder. Tipler helps infuse that 90’s gritty attitude into J.W. Paris, for them to unleash their own take of when guitar based music dominated the charts. With a tour on the horizon and debut video in the process, J.W. Paris are showing no signs of slowing down any time soon.
